Black and White

Sometimes an image carries more power when we strip the color away. It’s a bit like that old saying, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. When the skies are dull and the light is flat, there isn’t much color contrast to work with. But instead of giving up on the moment, we lean into it.

By converting a scene to black and white, we’re able to draw out the mood, the texture and the quiet drama that might otherwise be lost. Our hope is that this approach helps the story of the image come through even more clearly—proof that even on colorless days, beauty still finds its way in.
