Herb and Dee Coyle have spent their entire lives surrounded by the beauty of Maui, and that lifelong connection shows in every photograph they create. As photographers, they embrace a wide range of subjects—landscapes, native flora and fauna, and moments gathered from their travels near and far. From the slopes of Haleakalā to the shores of neighboring islands, and from journeys through Europe, Japan, and across the continental United States, they carry their love of place and curiosity for the world wherever they go.

One project especially close to their hearts is their annual Maui calendar. They have produced this work of collaboration since 2014 to express their aloha for their home island of Maui—celebrating its uniqueness, its beauty and their deep sense of gratitude of being Hawaiian.
